It occurs to me that "inspired" is a near anagram of "insipid."

04:32 pm - Been a while, anagrammaniacs:
fanthropology has the following challenge here:

Go to http://wordsmith.org/anagram/ or another anagram generator

Enter your favorite media's name.

Pick a resulting anagram and now describe what your favorite media would be with THAT name.

Sure you like Star Trek, but what about "Kart Rest"?

Here are some of mine:

Mat Ban - Bruce Wayne goes on a vigilante crusade to reinstate the recently prohibited right to wipe your feet.

Bride for Spy - Dinah Lance goes undercover as a mail-order bride to infiltrate Barbara Gordon's ring of spies.

Abrasively Huffy Temper - A Sunnydale high school student loses it and starts staking everyone in school just because she's in a Bad. Mood!!!! And NO, It's NOT PMS!!!

Re: Hoes - Normal people discover they have extraordinary farm equipment.

Tacky Aria, Madam - The Prince of All Cosmos, annoyed with an overweight soprano in the Metropolitan Opera, decides to roll up the entire opera house.

The Treadmill Time - Young princess Ariel makes a deal with a sea witch to get legs, but in exchange, she has to run 30 minutes every day.

Okay, Got Me! - Piro and Largo play tag all over Japan.

Do, Re, Mi, T - Mr. T and Samus teach you how to sing.

Cryptic Housework Horror - Brad and Janet come upon a creepy castle, where they are made to perform perverse, inhuman acts -- like window-washing and floor waxing.

Hedgehog on Ethics - A blue speedster hedgehog discusses the ethical dilemmas faced by his battle with his evil twin.

Measureless Hemp Brothers - Two plumbers with very badly fitted clothes get high on cannabis and beat the crap out of their friends from other video games.

Yo! I Is a Air Ho! - Aoi Sakuraba, once heir to a huge textile empire, moves to New York and tries to become NBA player Kaoru's mistress.

Deans of Algebra - A post-apocalpytic, medieval society is changed forever by Chosen One Tatara's embrace of revolutionary mathematics.

Gather Urinal Jar - Juna is chosen by a secret, elite government force to save the Earth from pollution by discarded "specimen containers." Ew!

Hard Zeal - Three priestesses and a demon god in a knock-down, drag-out wrestling match.

Violent Caffeine Swoosh - A giant medieval robot can turn into a flying dragon once it has a little coffee.

A Plentiful Calm - Kaname teaches Sousuke to chill out.

IT Navigator - Shuichi over in Marketing falls in love with the cool dude in the computing department.

Your turn!

07:56 pm - Gospel of Judas? Truth in Anagrams!
Here's a great example of how there's always truth in anagrams.

Have you heard about the new Gospel of Judas? Well. Turns out...

paints the betrayer as a PAL OF GOD, JESUS.
(Although some might say he was nothing but a LAPDOG OF JESUS!)

Oh, and for my resident skeptic: you might say this proves JESUS, GOD A FLOP.

Then again, you might not. ;)
